Always a book lover, I worked in bookselling and publishing for seven years before winning Company Magazine Young Writer of the Year in 2000 and publishing my first novel GROWING UP TWICE. Since then I have published seven novels for adults including THE ACCIDENTAL FAMILY a much requested sequel to the ACCIDENTAL MOTHER. I also write books for teens, including the Ruby Parker series. I live in Hertfordshire with my daughter and a large black standard poodle. Writing is absolutely my most favourite thing in the world, ranking right up there with eating cake (cake features a lot in my books...) playing with my daughter and walking my dog.
