On the Slow Train to the Olympics
12 July 2011
I've just been given an insider's view of how the Dockland's Light Railway plan to get all us Londoners to the Olympics next year. I got a fascinating tour of the control room after the DLR said the chapter in my new book on Britain's top railway journeys was one of the best things ever written about London's "toy railway". Dinky it may be, but through the windows of the train are some of the best views of any railway in the world. Take the journey and read the chapter in my new book 'On the Slow Train Again'.
