Inside a Spitfire's cockpit: Tally Ho!

Wow what a morning! Thanks to the terrific staff at Southampton's Solent Sky museum, I was able to get to grips with the controls of a real Spitfire (see picture). This achingly beautiful and iconic aircraft is one of the last Mark 24s and is in almost original condition. It's quite a tight squeeze...
