ADELE GERAS was born in Jerusalem and travelled widely as a child. She started writing over thirty years ago and is the author of more than ninety books for young readers, including Happy Ever After, Other Echoes, Ithaka and Dido. She is married with two daughters and two grandchildren and has lived in Manchester for the last 41 years.
She has also written four novels for adults and a collection of poetry. She loves reading and conversation, is very fond of cats and enjoys anything that goes on in a theatre and she hates milk puddings and air travel. She watches far too much television and sends far too many emails.
